Type 54 and the next step

I have had my Type 54 interview and it looks good for me and hopefully I will know soon. A very nice lady interviewed me and explained everything in detail. In Michigan the next step after obtaing your Type 54 is to contact the township in which you are going to shoot. It looks like a FM-49 and a FM-51 form are initiated by the township. Has anyone been through this process before. Thanks Flatlander

Good luck!!! Sounds like more hoops after getting your 54. Much like every other state, its not just as simple as "getting your license". Do your homework and do everything properly.
