Sorry Dave I don't believe these people belong to you, but this is rather unique and I hope they come to the States.

Do we know if that is a cake?

Sorry Birdman, I don't have aclue of what it is, I'll I know is that I came across that video, and to me it shows that someone is thinking outside the box instead of verticle or fan designs.

I don't think that's a cake. Looks much too large even for 1.3. I'm guessing that was done with single shots in comet racks. Neat effect.

i agree, it is an interesting effect. i hope we get more out of the box thinking. for quite a while now i wanted to ask if there were any different effects to lite off, that we haven't already seen for decades (in 1.4, pro, and 1.3) because even though i love fireworks... there just doesn't seem to be any new effect across any genre
but am willing to (and hoping to) be shown some new ones. anyone?

Only option I’ve seen is Sunwing/PYRO FORTUNE PRO here in the states that have out of the box thinking.
Raccoon Pro has some very nice butterfly effects but nothing at this level.
My guess with this cake it’s a F3 or F4 which you can’t get here in the states that am aware of.
Maybe check out Sunwing pro product line at AWS to find more artsy cakes. They have very limited stock from time to time.
I’ll text you direct link if I find anything

I'm hoping for some new designs also, and when I saw this I had to post it. I know I posted before about the 1.4 pro stuff being hard hitting butI still can't find any neat stuff. I like the pro stuff but it seems for now, they are all verticle or a type of fan cake but no diversity, It's one type of shot repeated 15 or 20 times, or the fan or z cakes repeat the same thing 3 or 5 times, and the 1.3 in cakes is not much better.
I know the bottom line is the bigger the shell the more things you can stuff in there and get different effects and as BMoore indicates it is probably moore complex than a cake, but neat.

I believe with a couple hours or less of work with F3D you could build your own with singles.

Scripted single shots, i'd bet $ on it. called pyro printing. People do flags and all sorts of things. Lots of cues and the product basically has to be perfect. If you bought a mass produced cake that was supposed to look like that, it would not.

Agree 100%. Looked like single shots to me the first time. Just watched it again and I'm even more convinced. No way you'd get that kind of resolution with an internally fused cake.
